How did you get into radio?
It was always a passion of mine and at the tender age of 20, I started at a Varsity radio station and I was there for 8 months before being head-hunted into commercial radio and at the young age of 21, I was the youngest presenter to start working for JHB's biggest radio station at the time. It has been a journey and hopefully, this journey still has a lot of scenic routes to go through.
What do you love about working with 919?
I have worked for my previous station for almost 10 years, and now that we have all moved into a new environment, 919 is the new family name and I look forward to watching our family grow!
If we say Joburg, what comes to mind?
GEES!! And community, traffic and fast pased lifestyles... and GEES!!
Where are you based, and what’s the route you travel to get to the station?
I am based in Benoni and I travel on the N3 and through Sandton via Marlboro.
What do you get up to when you’re not doing your show / working at 919?
My day job is in recruitment to I get to help people change their lifes and then outside of that, I'm always in the bush!
Who are your favourite artists and genres?
I enjoy anything up-beat and old school! Really enjoy Roxette, Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and anyone else who ran big in the 80's!
