The butchery is supplying fresh fruit, vegetables and other necessities to support the weekly feeding programme.
The church previously provided meals once a month and hopes to eventually feed people daily.

A law student in KwaNdebele has turned savings from her NSFAS living allowance into a business that now employs nine people.
Thando Masutu, a final year LLB student at North West University, used her savings with two friends to buy a maize grinding machine and launch SoMphalali Maize Milling.
The business helps local farmers process maize closer to home, saving them transport costs.
It has since grown to two machines and nine employees.
