Twenty strength athletes are preparing for a 1 650-kilometre truck-pulling challenge from Pretoria to Cape Town to raise funds for charity.
The Bigg Pull 2026, organised by Gentle Giant Promotions, will see the Power Team take on the journey over 41 days.
The team will leave the South African Air Force Base in Centurion on November 2 and is expected to reach Cape Town on December 12.
Tshwane mayor Nasiphi Moya’s spokesperson, Samkelo Mgobozi, says the challenge will raise funds to support charities:

Tatenda “Coach Tats” Moyo has built a cricket academy that provides individual training for players of different ages and skill levels.
His programmes also give young players regular matches, helping them build experience and confidence on the field.
Through his work at Randburg Cricket Club and ATT Sporting Solutions, Moyo is helping more young players develop their cricket and compete at a higher level.
