Delivering a keynote address at the Maritime Stakeholder Dialogue Minister in the Presidency for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, Sindisiwe Chikunga emphasized the importance of empowering women and promoting inclusive economic growth.
The annual event brought together stakeholders to discuss transformation and empowerment of women in the maritime industry.

Mayibuye Primary School learners receive shoe and stationery donation

Learners at Mayibuye Primary School in Midrand have started the term on a brighter note after receiving a generous donation of 500 pairs of school shoes and stationery sets.
The donation was made by Making A Difference South Africa, in partnership with a corporate partner, as part of its "One Thousand Pairs for Mandela" campaign.
The organisation has already distributed over 20,000 pairs of shoes to schools in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and KwaZulu-Natal, and provided millions of rand in disaster relief.
Making A Difference South Africa Founder Chan Naidoo says the gift of school shoes gives learners dignity and confidence, enabling them to excel in the classroom and build better futures.
