The 2026 Kay Motsepe Schools Football Championship has awarded schools a combined R8.6 million in grants to improve classrooms, water infrastructure, transport and sports facilities.
National champions included Navalsig High School in the under-19 boys division, Laerskool Queenswood in the under-13 boys division and St Marks Academy in the under-13 girls division.
The tournament also gives young players from across South Africa the chance to showcase their talent to professional football scouts.
