As the festive season approaches, the Road Traffic Management Corporation is reminding motorists to renew their vehicle licence discs before finalising their travel arrangements.
Over 3-million licences expiring between October and December.
The RTMC is sending reminders to registered motorists and encourages others to use their online platform to renew.
Clients from major banking institutions such as Capitec, FNB and Nedbank can access the platform through their banking apps.

The Low-cost carrier FlySafair has announced a new flight route connecting Cape Town to Hoedspruit in Limpopo.
The group says the flight will enhance access to the central Kruger region and the wider Limpopo province, complementing the existing route to Mbombela in Mpumalanga.

Limpopo Premier Dr Poppy Ramathuba has welcomed the launch of a new flight route which aims to promote economic growth and unlock the potential of the province.

This comes after an unexpectedly strong first half due to rising AI-related purchases, front-loaded imports in the United States over tariff fears and robust developing-world trade.
The Geneva-based trade body released its latest Global Trade Outlook and Statistics report on Tuesday.
