Johannesburg Water announces an unplanned maintenance scheduled for the 9th of May

Johannesburg Water has announced an unplanned maintenance on its pipeline scheduled for Friday the 9th of May, affecting suburbs in Region E.
The maintenance work will cause water interruptions from 6pm on Friday until 6pm on Tuesday the 13th of May.
Joburg Water says the water cuts are necessary due to repairs to a 600mm pipe.
The Affected areas include Sandton, Illovo, Sandhurst, Rivonia, Morningside, Parkmore and
Hyde Park among others.
Residents in these areas will experience low pressure to no water supply during the maintenance period.
Johannesburg Water has acknowledged the inconvenience caused by the outage and has assured residents that measures were in place to mitigate its impact.
