The donation became available when the business's walk-in fridge broke down, allowing the foundation to collect food that would otherwise have gone to waste.
The food was used during the foundation's weekly Thursday outreach to support people in need.
Founder Nic Janse van Rensburg said the donation ensured the foundation could provide meals to everyone it had committed to helping that week.

The African Conservation Trust built the gardens with wider spaces and raised platforms to support wheelchair and crutch users.
The project will help members of the Nurturing Seeds community group grow food for their families and earn an income from selling produce.

The extra lessons are being held at 89 centres during the school holidays, with experienced teachers providing support in Maths, Physical Sciences, Accounting and Economics.
