Food Donation Helps Feed 300 in Joburg
Story 1
The Sharing Kindness Foundation provided meals to 300 people through three feeding programmes in Johannesburg South after receiving a large food donation from a Mulbarton business.
The donation became available when the business's walk-in fridge broke down, allowing the foundation to collect food that would otherwise have gone to waste.
The food was used during the foundation's weekly Thursday outreach to support people in need.
Founder Nic Janse van Rensburg said the donation ensured the foundation could provide meals to everyone it had committed to helping that week.
