Mandela Day Campaign Supports 675 ECD Centres
Story 1
The DO MORE FOUNDATION and Kids Collab will provide Move & Play kits to 675 under-resourced early childhood development centres across South Africa as part of their Mandela Day "67 Minutes of Play" campaign.
Each kit includes outdoor play equipment for up to 50 children, while ECD practitioners will receive training to use the resources during daily learning activities.
The programme aims to improve children's physical, cognitive and social development through regular outdoor play, with activities beginning in August.
The partners say the campaign will help more young children learn and grow through play every day.
