Founded by yoga enthusiasts after the Covid-19 pandemic, OUR focuses on empowering individuals through practical solutions and skill-building.
Their flagship project is a washable, reusable sanitary pad designed to help girls manage menstruation hygienically and stay in school.
The pads are eco-friendly and locally produced, with plans to create jobs through community manufacturing.
A recent fundraiser at Honeybrew Café in Honeydew Eco Village featured lively entertainment and a fun noodle collection, all supporting the first mass production run.
This initiative is helping break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures for women and girls.

The Stellenbosch University Choir has made South Africa proud by winning three gold medals at the Interkultur European Choir Games in Denmark.
They were the only group from Africa to compete on the global stage.
Conductor André van der Merwe praised the choir’s passion and high scores, saying many members sing purely for the love of it.
One student said he wouldn’t change a thing about their performance and thanked their conductor for the preparation.
