The Milk + Cookies Music Week continues at the Nasrec Johannesburg Expo Centre today, with the Wunna Run Club 5K, hosted by US rapper Gunna.
Starting at 9am, the run brings together runners, creatives and fans, followed by a community meet-up.
The week began on Wednesday with the Dot Connectors panel at ALX, where leaders in music, media and tech discussed career pathways and industry opportunities.

The programme concludes next week Tuesday with a private writing camp for creatives, focused on song writing and production collaboration.

Luke and Mike Bell reclaim Guinness World Record for world’s fastest drone

South African father-and-son, Luke and Mike Bell, have reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the world’s fastest drone, for the third time in 2-years.
Their Peregreen V4 reached 657 km/h in December, beating the previous record held by an Australian engineer.
The duo spent over two years building, testing and adjusting drones to push the limits of speed.
Luke says for 5-months they have been working hard on improving their drone.

Puck Klaassen win Stage 3 of the Dakar Rally

South African rally driver Puck Klaassen has won Stage 3 of the Dakar Rally in the Challenger category, becoming the fifth woman ever to win a stage at the event.
She achieved the victory with Argentinian navigator Augusto Sanz, racing for the G Rally Team OT3.
Klaassen debuted at Dakar Classic in 2024 with her father before moving up to the Challenger class in 2025.
At the age of 22, she has progressed through motorbikes, go-karts, motocross, and 4-wheel racing, overcoming a leg injury to compete at the world’s toughest rally.
