Brianna, known for her community clean-ups and her foundation supporting victims of gender-based violence, encouraged learners to believe that anyone can be an activist, no matter their age or background.
She shared how growing up in Brakpan shaped her passion for community work and inspired her to take action, from organizing marches to writing books. Brianna told learners they don’t have to wait to make a difference.

Cape Town-born Kung Fu master Muhammad Junaid “M.J Li” Chafeker has become the first South African and African martial artist to be inducted into the World Action Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
His career spans more than three decades, competing across four continents and taking part in over 30 world championships, where he represented South Africa internationally.
Beyond competition, Chafeker runs a non-profit that mentors and trains young people through martial arts, helping build discipline and confidence. He says the induction reflects years of dedication and perseverance.
