Doctors at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital inserted a tissue expander to create healthy, hair bearing skin for further reconstruction.
The support is helping Kwandokuhle recover and regain the confidence to return to school.

Joburg South youth feed 200 children

Young volunteers from Joburg South have helped feed 200 children during a community outreach initiative at the Wits University Volunteers Centre.
The youth prepared and served nutritious meals on September 1, with vegetables donated by Alberton LewenSentrum Gemeente helping to make the initiative possible.
The outreach was organised by the Sharing Kindness Foundation, which praised the young volunteers for giving their time to support children in need.
