South Africa ranks eighth in the world for searches by people looking to start a business.
The finding comes from a MoneySuperMarket analysis of Google search data across 249 countries and cities.
The United Kingdom ranked first, followed by Australia and Canada, while South Africa placed ahead of countries including the United States, Germany and Japan.
The analysis also found South Africa ranks ninth for searches about starting businesses abroad, showing interest in business opportunities both in the country and overseas.

15-Year-Old Selected for SA Baseball World Cup Squad

Fifteen-year-old Adriaan van der Merwe has been selected for South Africa’s 20-player squad for the WBSC Under-15 Baseball World Cup in Mexico this month.
The tournament will take place in Mérida, where Van der Merwe will represent South Africa against teams including Japan, Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
His selection gives the young baseball player an opportunity to compete at an international level.
South Africa will be among the teams battling for the Under-15 world title.
