The award recognises the organisation’s work to promote reading and storytelling and expand children’s access to books and stories.

The organisation says it remains committed to helping children develop a love of reading.

Bloubosrand households receive essential donations

Vulnerable households in Bloubosrand have received donations of blankets, grocery hampers and sanitary products.
The donations were provided by non-profit organisation, Ubuntu I Care I Can, in partnership with Off Nicol Wellness and Rehab Centre, with support from sponsors.
Douglasdale SAPS also helped co-ordinate the distribution to households in the community.
The initiative brought together organisations, businesses and individuals to support families in need.
