The initiative is aimed at protecting young girls from cervical cancer, which is the second most common cancer among women in South Africa.

It is seen as a crucial investment in the long-term health and wellbeing of young women.

Blood Moon Lights Up Skies Across Asia, Europe and Africa
Story 3
Stargazers were treated to a spectacular Blood Moon on Sunday night during a total lunar eclipse.
The phenomenon was best viewed in Asia, including India and China, while parts of Europe, Africa and western Australia caught glimpses of the event.
The Moon appeared red as sunlight scattered through Earth’s atmosphere, creating its distinctive glow.
Unlike solar eclipses, lunar eclipses can be safely viewed with the naked eye, needing only clear skies.
The next total eclipse is expected next year, with Spain and Iceland set for the best views.
