Premier Lesufi confirms Gauteng’s readiness for G20 Summit

The Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says the province is ready to host the G20 leaders Summit which is scheduled to take place later this month.

The Provincial government gave an update on the state of readiness for the Summit.
Lesufi outlined the province’s comprehensive preparedness measures across critical areas, including safety and security.
The premier says there is a plan in place to ensure smooth traffic on the province's roads during the summit.

South Africa assumed the G20 presidency at the end of 2024, marking a historic first for the African continent.

SANParks honours staff excellence at regional awards

Sanlam launches R1.4 Billion fund to boost Social Infrastructure

Sanlam Investments has raised R1.4 billion, which has been channelled into a Property Impact Fund. The aim of the Fund is to invest in essential social infrastructure such as affordable housing, student accommodation, township retail projects, as well as education and healthcare facilities.

The Fund is focused on supporting South Africa’s missing middle individuals and communities who actively contribute to the economy but often do not have access to quality housing, education and healthcare.

Sanlam Investments says the initiative aims to bridge the critical gap in the market, while achieving returns on its social impactful investment.
