The Mayor delivered his state of the city address yesterday, at the Connie Bapela council chambers in Braamfontein, where he unveiled a turnaround plan aimed at revitalizing the city's economy, while improving service delivery and ensuring financial sustainability.

The Mayor says the city is being repositioned as the economic epicentre of the Gauteng City region.

The digital marketing programme is designed to empower unemployed South African youth between the ages of 18 to 35, with practical digital skills and entrepreneurial tools to help build sustainable careers in the digital economy.

The Senior project manager at Digify Pro, Menzi Mhlongo says the programme directly responds to youth unemployment and the urgent need for inclusive learning pathways
The next cohort will commence on the 18th of June.
