South Africa brings home gold flower display

South Africa’s gold-winning Chelsea Flower Show display is coming home.
Leon Kluge and his team will recreate their award-winning Life After Fire exhibit in Stanford in the Western Cape from 12 to 27 September.
The display won gold and Best Exhibit in the Great Pavilion at the 2026 RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London.
Ticket sales will support the Grootbos Foundation’s conservation, education, and community programmes.
Kluge thanked South Africans for their support, as well as his team for their hard work in bringing the garden together:

A Pretoria school has been recognised on the global stage for its commitment to inclusive education.
Eduplex School is one of just 27 organisations worldwide selected by the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund for its model that integrates learners with hearing impairments into mainstream classrooms.
The funding will help provide bursaries for disadvantaged learners and expand the school's programmes.
Founded more than 30 years ago, Eduplex now serves over 820 learners and is regarded as a leading example of inclusive education internationally.
