School Breakfast Programme Feeds Thousands

Thousands of South African schoolchildren will receive nutritious breakfasts through a new partnership between the Kolisi Foundation, Emirates and EPCR.
The Emirates Nourishment Programme will provide about 400,000 breakfasts each year, supporting around 2,000 learners annually until 2030.
The initiative aims to reduce childhood hunger, improve school attendance and help children concentrate in class, while also using rugby to promote teamwork, leadership and resilience.
The programme forms part of the Kolisi Foundation's work to remove barriers to education and give young people a better chance to succeed.

The Miss South Africa Organisation has announced the 24 contestants who will compete for this year's national title.
The group includes professionals from fields such as medicine, engineering, law, aviation, education, finance and the arts, with Gauteng contributing the highest number of semifinalists.
Many of the contestants are already leading community projects that promote education, healthcare, mental health, youth development and entrepreneurship through the Empower Youth Africa initiative.
The competition now moves to its next stage as the contestants continue their journey to become South Africa's next Miss South Africa.
