More than 30,000 children facing life-threatening illnesses have experienced moments of hope and joy through the Reach For A Dream Foundation since 1988.
The organisation marked the milestone at Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital, where former dream recipient Dr Nkuli Boikhutso now serves as CEO after surviving childhood cancer.
Reach For A Dream fulfils around seven dreams every day, helping children look beyond their illness while creating lasting memories for their families.

Assistant Director for Sport and Recreation Tiyani Baloyi says partnerships and improved programme delivery are helping more people lead active, healthy lifestyles.
The initiative is also strengthening community sports facilities and creating more opportunities for young people to participate in sport.
