To raise awareness and funds UP has partnered with the Vodacom Bulls and Bulls Daisies, inviting donations of money and food.
A Food Pack-a-Thon will take place on July 30 at UP's Hatfield Campus, where volunteers will prepare food parcels for students in need.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Francis Petersen emphasizes the importance of this initiative, stating that no student should have to choose between their next meal and their education.
