The Johannesburg Development Agency says it is reviewing and updating the Sandton Integrated Transport Master Plan to meet rising demands.
Recent upgrades include pedestrian sidewalks, bridges, and Rea Vaya Bus Rapid Transit extensions.
Meanwhile, as part of the Rea Vaya construction residents, businesses and commuters have been warned that the work on Katherine Street and Pybus Road may cause disruptions, with safety precautions in place.

A talented group of South African dancers has made their mark on the global stage delivering an extraordinary performance at the 2025 Dance World Cup in Spain.
Team South Africa was up against over 8,500 dancers from 51 countries.
The team has been ranked 4th in the world and they have also been crowned Overall World Champions in both Junior and Senior Commercial Hip Hop categories. e
Last year the group finished 8th overall with an impressive collection of 9 Gold, 10 Silver and 9 Bronze medals by the end of the competition.
