A South African father-and-son duo, Luke and Mike Bell, has reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the world’s fastest drone for the third time in two years. After first setting the record in April 2024 at 480.23km/h and being overtaken by international rivals, they continued refining their designs. Their efforts paid off in December when their Peregreen V4 reached 657km/h, securing the record for the fastest battery-powered remote-controlled quadcopter.
