Save a Fishie expands impact in 2026
Story 2
Save a Fishie is expanding its impact this year by taking its Coast 2 Coast programme to more communities.
Instead of one long clean-up trek, the team will run six separate trips across the Overberg, West Coast, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Cape Town and the Eastern Cape.
The shift builds on recent years where teams cleaned over 100 beaches and removed tonnes of litter with community partners.
This year's plan focuses on community partnership, including clean-ups, school lessons, and plastic waste surveys.
The first journey starts on 3 February.
