Orlando Pirates dominate PSL awards

Orlando pirates emerged as the biggest winners at the 2025/26 Premier Soccer League awards, with star player Relebogile Mofokeng winning the league's biggest honours.
The 21 year old won the coveted PSL footballer of the season award and claimed the Betway Premiership Palyer's Player of the season and the Betway Premiership Young Player of the Season award, completing a historic hatrick ahead of his international transfer to Belgium.
Pirates' Camren Dansin completed the club's dominance after his strike won the Betway Premiership goal of the season award.
The Soweto giants also celebrated success in the knockout competitions.
The PSL Chairman’s Award was posthumously presented to the late Jayden Adams, who passed away on the 11th of July.

Marule Twins celebrate historic rugby milestone

Uplands College in White River is celebrating a historic achievement after twin brothers Siphesihle and Thubelihle Marule represented the Pumas at this year's FNB Under-18 Craven Week in Gqeberha.
The twins, who joined the school in 2023 through the Kgwale Le Mollo Foundation, became Uplands' first Craven Week representatives in nearly two decades.
Thubelihle scored the Pumas' opening try of the tournament, while Siphesihle's outstanding performances earned him selection to the SA Schools A squad.
The college has congratulated the brothers on their achievements and has thanked the coaches, teachers, mentors, family members and teammates who have supported their development.
