CILT South Africa to host Women in Logistics and Transport Conference in September

Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport South Africa will host the Women in Logistics, Transport and Supply Chain Empowerment Conference at the Birchwood Hotel on the 26th of September.
The Conference will explore critical topics such as building confidence and establishing leadership presence across the logistics, transport, and supply chain industries, while showcasing the lessons from the transformative journeys of those who attended the 2024 conference.
The Institute's executive director Catherine Larkin says the logistics, transport and supply chain industry increasingly recognizes that women bring valuable skillsets including exceptional organizational abilities, strategic planning capabilities and collaborative leadership styles.

The Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities and the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, in partnership with the Limpopo Provincial Government, will host the 2025 National Women’s Day Commemoration on Saturday the 9th of August at Nkowankowa Stadium, in Limpopo.
National Women’s Day continues to spotlight the ongoing efforts to achieve gender equality, economic inclusion and meaningful empowerment for women across all communities.
This year’s Women’s Month is commemorated under the theme: “Building Resilient Economies for All.”
The theme recognizes the critical role women play in South Africa’s economic recovery and long-term development.
