The 2025 Tribute to Women concert is set to take place on the 24th of August at Mark’s Park in Johannesburg, promising a vibrant and purposeful celebration.
Broadcaster, global health advocate and social entrepreneur Dr. Criselda Kananda who has been recently appointed as the Ambassador of the Tribute to Women concert and the Chairperson of the Malibongwe Arts Festival Foundation, shared plans to expand the project's impact blending cultural celebration and long-term empowerment for women, particularly in the creative sector.
Kananda says she intends to extend the initiative to remote areas, in order to discover and empower more women.
