Building owners urged to register for energy performance certificates

Electricity and Energy deputy minister, Samantha Graham-Maré, is calling on owners of large public and private buildings to register for energy performance certificates before the December 7 deadline.
The certificates indicate a building’s energy efficiency and help reduce costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
Since 2020, nearly eight-thousand buildings have been registered, with Gauteng in the lead.

SAPS National Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola will present and handover the SAPS safer festive operation plan to the Minister.
The launch of the safer festive season operations will be preceded by the opening of a police station in Bloemfontein.
