The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) has launched a R2.5 billion initiative to support young South Africans and small businesses.
Each business can receive between R750,000 and R2 million, focusing on sectors like agriculture, renewable energy, industrial development, and property.

Deputy Chairperson Bonga Makhanya says strong collaboration with government and private partners will ensure the initiative makes a meaningful economic impact.

The charity donated toiletries and menstrual products to help learners focus on their studies and stay in school.
KKCO founder Lindiwe Bhayi, a former ESS learner, said the initiative aims to empower students and prevent dropouts.
The drive also included snack packs from long-time supporter Narvind Keshav, ensuring learners had the resources to make the most of their matric camp.
