Honeydew toy run seeks support for festive season cheer

The Honeydew Community Policing Forum has encouraged residents to get involved in its annual toy run, to help make this year’s event another success.
The community-driven initiative aims to bring happiness to children during the festive season.
To support the cause, residents can purchase a 1kg pack of Bakers Choice Assorted Biscuits or make a monetary donation.
Donations can be dropped off at designated collection points on Saturday, November 15, or made via bank transfer to Honeydew Community Police Forum's account.
The CPF has announced that the toy run will take place at the end of this month.

The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa has announced a special train service for spectators attending the Carling Black Label Knockout Semi-Final between Orlando Pirates and Richards FC at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 8 November 2025.
The dedicated train service aims to ease traffic congestion and ensure a smooth experience for fans.
The return ticket costs R20 and is available from various stations.
Trains will run every 30 minutes from 11:55am to 2:25pm from Durban Station to Moses Mabhida Station, and return from 5:13pm to 6:43pm.
A park and ride service is also available at Durban Station, included in the ticket price.
