Beyond Limits academy stages second community youth boxing tournament

Beyond Limits Sporting Academy hosted the second edition of its community boxing tournament in April at the Rabie Ridge Community Hall.
The academy has been making strides in developing local talent while using boxing as a tool to instill discipline and create positive change among youth.
Founder and coach Anthony McPherson says the tournament marks another important step in building opportunities for young people in the area.
McPherson emphasised that discipline remains at the core of the academy’s approach and says this filters into how the young people behave in their communities and schools.
The tournament featured clubs from across Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni, with international participation from Eswatini.
