UJ partners with Ghana Water Commission to tackle water challenges

The University of Johannesburg has signed a three year collaboration agreement with Ghana’s Water Resources Commission to strengthen research and innovation in water management across the continent.
The partnership will focus on joint research projects, student and staff exchanges, and the development of new solutions to improve water sustainability and treatment.
Academic teams from UJ’s science and engineering faculties will work alongside Ghanaian experts to address key water infrastructure and safety challenges.
UJ says the collaboration aims to drive practical solutions that improve access to safe water and strengthen cooperation between African institutions.
