Western Cape on track to reach 5700 MW energy target

The Western Cape province remains on track to reach the target of generating 5 700 MW of energy by 2035.
This was reflected in the Western Cape Government’s Energy Dashboard, which provided an update of the progress of various public-private sector initiatives in the province.

Bolt Invests over R400 00 to support emerging entrepreneurs

E-hailing company Bolt says it has concluded its first Accelerator Program in South Africa, awarding over R400 000 in funding to ten participants.
Bolt says the initiative marked a significant step in the company's efforts to support entrepreneurial growth within its driver and courier community.
The program involved 578 initial applications, with 120 candidates participating in a business boot camp.
Each finalist will also participate in six weeks of additional mentorship to further develop their ventures.
