Fun Run Collects Pads For Schoolgirls

Pad a Girl Campaign will host a charity fun run in Benoni on Saturday to collect sanitary pads for schoolgirls facing menstrual hygiene challenges.
Runners can take part in 5km, 10km or 15km routes by donating three packets of sanitary pads as their entry fee.
The donations will support the organisation’s efforts to provide menstrual products to schools in need across four provinces.

LIV Golf Finds Financial Future

LIV Golf has secured a lead investor to fund the league beyond the 2026 season after Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund ended its financial backing.
CEO Scott O'Neil announced the agreement at the LIV Golf event in New Jersey, saying the league is also negotiating with more than a dozen potential minority investors.
LIV is seeking up to $300 million to finance the 2027 season and plans to complete the investment deal in September.
The new ownership model will give players a majority equity stake in the league.
