Twelve year old Romello Early from Buffalo, New York, has been recognised after using 135 dollars from his savings to buy a new pair of Nike trainers for his classmate, Melvin Anderson, who had been bullied for wearing worn out shoes.
Romello even offered to give up his Christmas presents to help his friend because he believed no one should be judged by the shoes they wear.
