SAFA Invests World Cup Money In Football

The South African Football Association will invest more than R100 million of its R218 million FIFA World Cup prize money into football development and administration.
Finance Committee Chairperson Mxolisi Sibam says the move honours the players' wish to strengthen grassroots football and develop future Bafana Bafana stars.
Premier Soccer League clubs that supplied players to the national team will also benefit, with Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates each set to receive more than R25 million.
SAFA has also allocated R65 million for player bonuses and the national team's coaching staff.
