Afrika Tikkun hosted its second annual Beauty in Ability pageant in Johannesburg, giving young people with disabilities a platform to showcase their talents, confidence and leadership.
Twenty finalists from the organisation's centres across the city took to the stage, with Yanga Gongwana crowned Mr Ability and Nonhlanhla Nxasana named Miss Ability.
The event aims to challenge perceptions of disability while promoting inclusion, self expression and opportunities for young people to reach their full potential.

The Mdzananda Animal Clinic and Shelter has sterilised 497 dogs in just six weeks as part of its campaign to reduce pet overpopulation in Khayelitsha.
The campaign is already halfway to its goal of 1 000 sterilisations and is helping prevent unwanted litters while improving the health and wellbeing of pets in the community.
As the only non profit veterinary clinic serving Khayelitsha and surrounding areas, Mdzananda provides affordable veterinary care to thousands of animals each year.
