Ramaphosa Calls on South Africans to Unite for Clean-Up Effort

President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to declare a National Clean-Up Day, calling on all South Africans, including government ministers, to join hands in community cleanup efforts across the country.
This was revealed by Deputy President Paul Mashatile during his visit to the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality in the Free State as part of the Clean Cities and Towns Campaign on Tuesday.
The campaign is an integrated service delivery initiative that was officially launched in Kliptown, Soweto, in June of this year.
It aims to promote cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environments in both urban and rural areas.

The South African team has made history at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Australia, achieving their best performance in over 20 years.
The team consisted of six talented learners who excelled in the competition, with five securing bronze medals and one receiving an honourable mention.
Five of the learners were from the Western Cape, while another learner from Redhill High School in Johannesburg, was recognized as Africa’s top female high school mathematician.
