John Travolta to Directorial Debut at Cannes

US actor and aviation enthusiast John Travolta will make his directorial debut with Propeller One-Way Night Coach, which will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
The film, based on Travolta’s 1997 book, follows a young boy and his mother on a journey through the golden age of aviation.
Travolta wrote the book for his late son Jett, who died in 2009 at age 16. His daughter Ella Bleu, 25, also appears in the film as a flight attendant.
Travolta, a licensed pilot of Boeing, Airbus, and Bombardier aircraft, brings his lifelong passion for flying to the project.
The story will be available globally on Apple TV from May, marking a new chapter for the star known for Pulp Fiction, Saturday Night Fever, and Grease.
