The City says work is underway to ensure that all public pools across Tshwane are fully functional.
The city's MMCs are currently conducting site inspections to ensure that the facilities meet the required standards before opening to the public.

V&A Waterfront launches Circular Innovation Challenge 2025

The V&A Waterfront is calling on designers, students, businesses and non-profit organizations to enter the Circular Innovation Challenge 2025.
The initiative is aimed at sparking creativity, collaboration and leadership in the circular economy across Southern Africa.
Finalists will have the opportunity to showcase their concepts to a panel of leading experts at the South Africa Circular Summit on the 23rd of October in Cape Town.
The winner will receive a R250,000 cash investment towards and customized training valued at R100,000.
The initiative is aimed at sparking creativity, collaboration and leadership in the circular economy across Southern Africa.

Durban Fashion Fair 2025 to showcase top African Designers

The 14th Durban Fashion Fair will take place from the 17th of September at the Durban Exhibition Centre and will feature over 60 designers from across Africa.
The programme falls under the holistic Fashion Development Programme, a flagship initiative by the eThekwini Municipality that has trained over 350 emerging designers since its launch 13 years ago.
