Businesses can receive between R750 000 and R2 million through loans or equity investments, targeting sectors like renewable energy, mining, agriculture and manufacturing.
The National Youth Development Agency is contributing R1.2 billion to the initiative.

#GlassRecyclingChallenge returns for 2025

The Glass Recycling Company has launched the 2025 #GlassRecyclingChallenge, a countrywide call-to-action that runs throughout November.
The challenge aims to collect 280-tons of glass from Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Cape Town, with the winning city taking home the top spot.
Participants can drop off their used glass at one of thousands of public glass banks located in shopping centers, school grounds, and community hubs across South Africa.
To make the challenge more exciting, TGRC is offering R5,000 spot prizes for participants who share their recycling efforts on social media using the #GlassRecyclingChallenge hashtag.
Last year's challenge saw thousands of people participating and diverting hundreds of tons of glass from landfills.
