Story 2
Nal’ibali has brought stories to Deaf learners at Sizwile School for the Deaf in Dobsonville, using sign language and videos in different languages so every child can enjoy reading.

Nal’ibali is a national South African reading-for-enjoyment campaign launched in 2012 to spark children's potential through storytelling and literacy.
Gauteng Provincial Coordinator Sithembiso Nhlapo says by giving children stories in their first languages, Nal’ibali helps them understand ideas, grow their vocabulary, and feel confident as they learn.
