Upington Teen Dancers Bound for the Broadway Stage

A group of teenage dancers from Upington in the Northern Cape are preparing for the opportunity of a lifetime after earning places in an international dance showcase in New York later this month.
The dancers impressed judges during the audition process and will join performers from several countries in a Broadway production. For many of them, it will be their first time travelling overseas and performing on one of the world's most famous stages.
The group hopes their achievement will inspire more young people to pursue dance and believe that talent from small South African communities can reach the international stage.
