South Africa hosted a round of the FIM Motocross World Championship for the first time in 18 years as the world's top riders competed in Johannesburg over the weekend.
The event brought together leading international riders and South African talent as part of the MXGP calendar.
Organisers hope the successful return will help re-establish South Africa as a regular stop on the world championship circuit.
The race weekend also attracted fans with entertainment, food stalls and family activities.

CrossFit Rising Oak has raised more than R40 000 for Rainbows and Smiles through its annual six-hour Enduro Charity Event.
Athletes, families, sponsors and supporters worked together to complete the endurance challenge and raise funds for children and families affected by childhood cancer.
The donation was handed over at Broadacres Shopping Centre on 4 July.

The event brought together government and private sector representatives to share information on job opportunities, skills development and entrepreneurship.
