Story 1
Parkview and Greenside East residents, together with the Parkview Residents Association, have celebrated a year of community spirit, with improvements made across the suburbs in 2025.
Volunteers collected up to 900 bags of waste each month, maintained parks and pavements, and supported safer, cleaner public spaces.
Parkview Residents Association chair, Philanie Jooste, says community events such as Movie in the Park, the Spring Run and a large Halloween Carnival brought residents together, while fundraising raised more than R250,000 for Parkview Library upgrades.
