Tshilande Foundation Gives Shoes To Learners

The Tshilande Foundation has launched its One Pair of School Shoes Every Day campaign, donating a pair of school shoes to one learner every weekday throughout August.
The campaign began at Comprehensive Academic School in Braamfischerville and Klipspruit Secondary School in Soweto, where learners in need received new school shoes.
Led by Mr T Tshilande and supported by Miss South Africa Heritage and Miss South Africa Disability, the initiative aims to improve learners' dignity, confidence and school attendance.
The Foundation will continue visiting schools across Gauteng during August to provide essential footwear to deserving learners.

Durban's Boxer Super Run has increased its capacity from 5,000 to 7,000 participants after strong demand for the 5km event.
The race will take place on 18 October, with entries opening on 6 August and closing on 12 October or when all places are filled.
The event aims to encourage healthy, active lifestyles by making road running affordable and accessible.
Organisers have kept the R100 entry fee unchanged to make the event accessible to more participants.
