Emperors Palace has extended its community outreach efforts by supporting the Cute Kiddies Day Care Centre in Rondebult with a new library, educational resources and improvements to the facility.
The initiative is aimed at creating a better learning environment and to give young learners greater access to educational opportunities.

Cute Kiddies principal Yiselwa Sidzatane, joined Peermont executives and the Peermont Community Benefit Trust chairperson Tshidi Mdima for a special reading session with the learners in the newly established facility.
The initiative forms part of the resort's ongoing efforts to make a positive difference in communities within its catchment area.

Volkswagen Group Africa in partnership with the LEAP Institute, officially opened the LEAP 9 Science and Mathematics School in KwaNobuhle, in the Eastern Cape last week.
The project forms part of Volkswagen’s 75th anniversary celebrations in South Africa and highlights its cradle-to-career strategy to bolster Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics skills for the manufacturing and automotive sectors.
The school is the first of its kind in the Eastern Cape.

South Africa has recorded over 991,000 international tourist arrivals in July, an increase of 12.5% compared to July 2025.
Arrivals from African markets increased by 14.3% year on year between January and July, while overseas arrivals grew by 5.7%.
Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille says the figures showed that growth is becoming more geographically diversified.
