A new initiative called Startup Huddle has been launched in Pretoria to empower young people to become job creators.
The programme is part of the Global Entrepreneurship Network and is being run in partnership with Tshwane University of Technology’s Centre for Entrepreneurship Development.
Each month it will spotlight a different industry, from fintech to green technology, giving local entrepreneurs a platform to share ideas, gain mentorship and build networks.
Organisers say the project will help township-based and youth-led startups overcome barriers and spark innovation, collaboration and inclusive economic growth in Tshwane.
